The salmon catch off British Columbia has been spectacular. Because of all the debris from the Japanese tsunami floating onto the coastline commercial gill netting is not possible to cast their nets close to the shoreline. The small , independents are having a bonus year. Ladner, our sweet little village is a fishing village. We are fortunate to have friends who supply us with an endless supply of all types of salmon. I so appreciate all your recipes using salmon. Virginia
LADNER!!!! Oh such a wonderful place! You do live in paradise! Am pea green with envy………..once again! Living in paradise………..being a culinary genius…………an artist to boot…..you are a gift to humanity! How wonderful! I shall run out to the deck and drink champagne in your honor, my dear. Thank you for your wonderful comments!
I will try this one!
You can do the same with the whole salmon burger, of course, and it is great on a Hawaiian Kings Roll with some spicy slaw!
Fun and easy! Love it!
